Accessibility

Accessibility is an important consideration that we have fully taken into account on Homeless Cork. The site is designed to be as accessible as possible.

The site can be used via many different browsers and other devices (including screen readers for individuals with visual difficulties).

We use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and XHTML to ensure that content is as accessible as possible. We follow guidance from the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative and carry out regular testing to ensure that we are applying these recommendations.

Homeless Cork also has a specific text only version (with alternate colour schemes) and the option to easily change text size.
